You can read a yarn specification and say what it will do in the finished garment: hand, strength, pilling, shrinkage, and price. And you can challenge a fibre choice or a count on a tech pack before it reaches a cost sheet.

What you will produce
You build a complete yarn acceptance file for one delivery. You read the evenness, strength and Classimat report against the Uster percentiles and derive the clearer setting from it. You write a yarn purchase specification with the acceptance rule and the lot rule in it. And you trace a fabric defect back to the certificate, with four recovery options costed against order margin.
