Denim, Performance and Specialty Fabrics
You take on the fabrics that carry their own rules. You price denim by the ounce and judge it after the wash. You back every performance claim with a test report. And you see why pile and coated fabrics force a one-way marker, which takes more metres than the cost sheet allowed.

What will you be able to do?
Work outcome
You can read a woven or knitted fabric specification and predict what it will do: drape, stretch, shrinkage, seam performance, and cost per garment. You can calculate consumption from GSM and width, and judge a fabric in your hand against the spec somebody wrote for it.
Who it is for
Factory, supplier, brand and buying-office teams.
What you will produce
You make a costed fabric decision for three real orders. You price two denim qualities against each other, carry shrinkage into consumption, and apply the buyer's growth and twist limits. You write a waterproof-and-breathable specification with its test methods. And you re-cost a one-way marker in metres and cutting hours.
