Work outcome
You can read a woven or knitted fabric specification and predict what it will do: drape, stretch, shrinkage, seam performance, and cost per garment. You can calculate consumption from GSM and width, and judge a fabric in your hand against the spec somebody wrote for it.

What you will produce
You build a complete fabric intake file for one bulk delivery. You work a hand-assessment sheet against the approved swatch. You score a 4-point inspection roll by roll to points per 100 square yards. You book the laboratory tests with their costs and turnarounds.
