You build a spreading comparison for one order in machine minutes, man-minutes, and metres of cloth. You build a cost model for the manual cutting route against an automatic cutter, naming the crossover volume and the share of metres needed to break even. You work a tooling breakeven for a steel-rule die, in pieces. And you build a detection-cost ladder for one shade fault.
