Specialised Machines
One factory in Central Java put a price on the machines that do one operation and nothing else. You meet a welt-pocket automat whose fixed cycle is slower than the best operator on the floor and still wins, a 12-head embroidery machine that needs more hours than the year holds, and a belt-loop automat bought for a style that never came back.

What will you be able to do?
Work outcome
You can read a machine list and say which styles it can and cannot make, specify the right machine for a seam, and build the investment case for the one machine that would change what you can sell.
Who it is for
Factory and supplier teams.
What you will produce
You set a six-operator time spread against an automat's fixed cycle, and find the yearly volume at which the machine starts to pay. You build an in-house embroidery cost from stitch count and machine-hours, against a subcontract quotation with its setup, minimum, transport, and spoil terms priced in. You find a print crossover in pieces. And you write four questions to answer before signing.
