Printing: What Each Route Costs and Constrains
You see how a print gets onto cloth: by rotary screen, by flat screen, and by digital. You work out what each route costs per metre at your run length, what the print does to the marker, and which approval actually commits the printer to anything.

What will you be able to do?
Work outcome
You can read a dye and finish route and predict what it will do to shade, fastness, shrinkage, and cost. You can judge a lab dip and a bulk shade against the agreed illuminant. And you can take a costed decision on a lot that has come out off-shade or off-hand.
Who it is for
Factory, supplier, brand and buying-office teams.
What you will produce
You make a costed print decision for one design. You take the printer's quote apart line by line. You work the screen-against-digital crossover for your own run length and colour count. You see the consumption penalty an engineered print puts on the marker. And you write a strike-off approval record that names the base cloth it was approved on.
