You can run a pre-shipment AQL inspection with the plan in front of you, defend a defect classification to a third-party inspector, and make a costed, defensible ship-or-hold call on a lot that has failed.

You build a complete inspection file for one lot. You read the sampling plan off the standard: code letter, sample size, and accept and reject numbers per class. You classify a defect list line by line against a buyer's zone rules. And you cost the four post-failure options in dollars against the order margin.
