What it is
The AQL standard is the acceptable quality level a lot is sampled against — major, minor, critical, and inspection level. The apparel default (General Inspection Level II, Major 2.5 / Minor 4.0 / Critical 0) auto-fills a new style from its buyer's quality profile, so you pick instead of type.
How to use it
Set a buyer's quality profile once (its AQL plus any required inspections and special tests); it flows onto every new style for that buyer, and freezes onto each order at confirmation. Tune the style's AQL only when the buyer's manual differs.
Good to knowAQL is a standardized figure, not a bespoke one — a buyer specifies one standard across their styles, which is why the app treats it as a per-buyer default.
