What it is
Needle & metal control is a control log, not an AQL inspection — needle issued/broken/reconciled, the broken-needle procedure, detector calibration, and a pass/fail per lot. It is a mandatory buyer control, especially for childrenswear.
How to use it
On the order's Quality tab, log needle events and record a metal-detection pass. When the order's frozen standard requires metal detection, a missing pass hard-blocks the ship gate — overridable only by an Owner or QA lead, and logged.
